Mindful March Campaign

What is Mindful March?

The Love Your Brain (LYB) Foundation was created by two brothers, Kevin and Andrew Pearce, after Kevin suffered a near fatal traumatic brain injury while training for the 2010 Winter Olympics. The Foundation attempts to raise awareness and understanding of the impact of Traumatic Brain Injury and support those who are living with it.  Through mindfulness, meditation and yoga LYB encourages prevention, healing and resilience. The importance of Mindfulness is something we actively support at the ACCG and so, in honour of this LYB initiative, we will be sharing resources this month to encourage exploration of this aspect of self-care.  We will be following the themes laid out in LYB’s month-long meditation challenge: Awareness, Acceptance, Resilience and Compassion.
