Erin Edwards
Erin works with clients toward their own insight, growth and development in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, family conflict, life purpose and balance. In working with youth, adult, and family clients, Erin embraces the Adlerian concepts of valuing uniqueness of individuals, encouragement, and early life experiences, while believing what Alfred Adler said, “Everything can also be different.” Believing in people’s and families’ ability to make what they feel are positive changes for their lives, she uses an Adlerian approach as her psychotherapeutic foundation, which offers a holistic consideration of life in valuing the work, social, intimacy, self and spiritual aspects of our being human. She also includes various other therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural methods, based on individual client needs. Sliding scale counselling is available.
